Guestlense review: pricing, limits and how it compares to Pix Wedding
Guestlense is a QR code photo guestbook that ships printed cards to your door. Pix Wedding is a QR album with a free plan and a refund promise. Here is what each one costs, what it includes and where each one is the better pick.

FROM A GUEST
Every Guestlense fact comes from its own pages, read on 3 November 2026: the home page and pricing, FAQ, terms and conditions and privacy policy. Pix Wedding facts come from its own plan list, refund policy and privacy policy. No affiliate links, and nobody paid for this page.
Guestlense in one paragraph
Guestlense is a QR code photo guestbook from Irvine, California. It costs $49, $99 with 30 printed QR cards or $199 with up to 50 polaroid-style prints, paid once, with no free plan and no refunds. Pix Wedding starts free, then costs $44 to $84, keeps videos uncompressed and stays online up to 2 years.
- You want to test with real guests first (20 uploads free)
- You want your money back if nobody uploads
- Ceremony and speech videos should stay in original quality
- You want uploads open longer than 3 months, or the album online for 2 years
- You want 30 QR cards printed and shipped, not a file to print
- A password on the gallery matters and you want it under $50
- You need more than 6 albums for the parts of the day
- Guests will send huge files, up to 500 MB each
One scan.
Straight into the album.
This is the part Guestlense and Pix Wedding share: a guest scans the code on the table and uploads from the browser. Here is how it looks on Pix Wedding, no app and no account.

Guestlense pricing vs Pix Wedding: Pix costs less at every step
Both charge once per wedding, but the packages differ. The bars are drawn to scale against the dearest package here, Guestlense with polaroid prints at $199. Guestlense spends its higher steps on printing, Pix on features and time online.
Sorted cheapest first. Pix Free and Starter both cost less than the cheapest Guestlense package, and the dearest Pix plan, Pro at $84, still sits under the $99 Guestlense package with printed cards.
Pix is $5 cheaper. The Guestlense package already has the live slideshow, a password and 12 months of access, which Pix keeps for Standard and Pro.
Not like for like. The extra $50 at Guestlense buys 30 printed QR cards shipped to you. Pix Standard adds the slideshow, a year online, the audio guestbook and a photographer link, and you print the QR card yourself.
Guestlense adds one order of up to 50 polaroid-style prints of your photos. Pix Pro adds approval before photos show, a PIN lock, a custom domain, AI selfie search and 2 years online.
When we checked, the Guestlense site showed a banner with 10% off your first event using the code EVENT10. That brings the $49 package to $44.10, a few cents above Pix Starter. Codes change, so check the checkout before you count on it.
Guestlense lists its packages in US dollars only. Pix Wedding shows local prices: €40, €50 and €77 in the euro area, £35, £43 and £66 in the UK. Every plan on both is a single payment with no subscription.
The cheapest plan that gets you each thing
Package names hide the real question: how much do you pay before the thing you want is switched on? Seven rows go to Pix Wedding, six to Guestlense, and face search is a draw on paper because Guestlense does not list its price.
Guestlense sells one digital product, so its features apply to every package; the $99 and $199 packages add printing. Pix Wedding photos can be up to 30 MB and videos up to 100 MB each.

Guests scan one QR code and upload from the phone browser with no account. Free covers 20 guest uploads; paid plans are $44, $54 or $84 once, with unlimited guests, photos and videos in original quality.
| Service | Free plan | One-time price | Video quality | Upload and access | Printed QR cards | Refunds |

| Guestlense | None | $49 digital, $99 with 30 QR cards, $199 with cards and 50 polaroid-style prints | Up to 500 MB per file; videos slightly compressed | Uploads until 3 months after the event, access for 12 months, every package | 30 cards printed and shipped free worldwide on the $99 and $199 packages | No refunds, all sales final |

Upload and access windows on one timeline
Guests keep finding photos for weeks after a wedding, so the upload window matters as much as storage. The darker part of each bar is the time guests can still add files; the lighter part is view and download only.
What happens after 12 months on Guestlense
Its FAQ gives 12 months to view and download, starting on the event date, and the site does not list a way to extend that. Use the bulk download from the dashboard well before the year is up, and keep a second copy somewhere you trust.
How Pix Wedding counts
Pix counts the upload window from the event date: 3 months on Starter, 6 on Standard, 12 on Pro. The album then stays online for 6 months, 1 year or 2 years, with a ZIP download of everything.
A wedding QR code for photos, printed for you or at home
This is where Guestlense spends most of its higher packages. Decide whether you want the cards made for you or are happy to print a file.
Guestlense prints and ships
The $99 package adds 30 QR cards in 5x7 or 8.5x11 inches with free worldwide shipping, and custom card designs by email. The $199 package adds one order of up to 50 polaroid-style prints of your photos. Every package has Canva QR templates and a QR download if you would rather print.
Pix Wedding gives you the file
Every paid plan has 48 ready-made QR poster designs with your names and date, downloaded as PNG or PDF for a home printer or a print shop. Pix does not print or ship anything, and Guestlense printing is not refundable once ordered.

A sign at the entrance and a card on each table is the usual setup. Guests scan, the upload page opens in the phone browser, and their photos land in the album. On both services the QR code is the same; only who prints it changes.
Want a print-ready card without Canva? The QR Sticker Designer exports table cards, and the QR code for wedding pictures guide covers where to put them.
Who sees what, and what happens to your money
Guestlense has the stronger story on passwords and automatic moderation in its cheapest package. Pix Wedding has the stronger story on refunds. Neither stores data in the EU only.
| Question | Pix Wedding | Guestlense |
|---|---|---|
| What guests type in | No account on any plan. Guest name tracking, so you know who sent what, comes with Standard and Pro | First and last name before they view and upload. No account |
| Password on the album | PIN lock on Pro. Every album sits on a random 8-character link kept out of search engines | Password protected gallery in every package |
| Explicit or unwanted photos | Pro: approve guest photos before they show. Every plan: hosts delete anything | Smart moderation filters explicit uploads; hosts monitor and delete |
| Guests delete their upload | No, guests cannot delete files | No, only the host can delete |
| Face search | AI selfie search on Pro. Face data stays with the event and is deleted with it | Optional "Search by Face" built on Amazon Web Services Rekognition; face data stored on AWS servers in the US |
| Where data lives | Media on Cloudflare, account data on MongoDB Atlas; not EU-only | Operations mainly in the US; its policy says EU data is transferred to the US |
| Who runs it | Run by its founder from Azerbaijan, governed by Azerbaijan law | A business in Irvine, California, governed by California law |
| Refunds | Full refund if no guest uploads, requested within 30 days after the event date | No refunds. All sales final; printed orders cannot be refunded once placed |

Guestlense (sometimes searched as "guest lense") is a real business: its terms give an address in Irvine, California, and the site has clear packages, an FAQ and a privacy policy. Independent review volume is still thin, so here is what we could and could not check.
Guestlense launched on Product Hunt in March 2025, so it is still a young product.
Vendor listings on The Knot, Zola and WeddingWire, linked from its own site.
The number on its home page. We found no independent count to check it against.
The "5 Star Rating" line on its home page, without a named source next to it.
Wedding vendor listings
Its site links to vendor listings on The Knot, Zola and WeddingWire, plus an article on Bespoke-Bride. Read the reviews there in full, not just the star line.
Launched in 2025
Guestlense launched on Product Hunt in March 2025. The SaaSworthy listing had no user reviews yet when we checked.
Its own numbers
The home page says "5 Star Rating" and "10,000+ Events". Those are the company's own claims; we found no independent count to check them against.
What to ask before paying
Since all sales are final, email support first if anything is unclear: which package includes face search, and how long you keep access after 12 months.
This walkthrough comes from Guestlense's own YouTube channel (March 2026) and is made for vendors such as photographers and venues, not couples. It shows creating a Pro account and a gallery, inviting the couple to collaborate and adding your branding.
Its vendors page describes the same flow: a free Guestlense gallery for the vendor, the couple invited to design the guestbook page, QR codes for guest uploads, then the professional photos delivered in the same gallery. Watching the dashboard before you pay is worth the 7 minutes, since all sales are final.

The 30-second decision checklist
- You want printed QR cards delivered, not a file
- A password on the gallery matters at the lowest price
- You need more than 6 albums for the parts of the day
- You want the slideshow and 12 months online for $49
- You like a photo booth with filters for guests
- You want to test free before paying anything
- You want your money back if nobody uploads
- Ceremony and speech videos should stay uncompressed
- Guests should be able to upload for 6 months or more
- You want the audio guestbook, film roll, missions or bingo
One difference to weigh before you pay: Guestlense says all sales are final, while Pix Wedding refunds in full when no guest uploaded, requested within 30 days after the event.

Two words: audio guestbook. The messages people left us are the most precious thing. My gran told a story about my grandad and I've listened to it at least 30 times 🥲
No notes, no feedback, no complaints. It just works and the photos are everything 💯
We got married near Mount Rushmore (her idea). 45 guests, small and perfect. Everyone uploaded without being asked twice. The album tells the whole story and the ZIP backup was huge for us since we live overseas now

Compare Pix Wedding to other apps
Still researching? Here is how Pix Wedding stacks up against the other major wedding photo sharing platforms.
How to choose between Guestlense and Pix Wedding
Guestlense and Pix Wedding solve the same problem the same way: one QR code, a browser upload page and a shared album, paid once per wedding. The differences sit in what the cheapest package includes, how long the album stays open, and what happens to your money if it goes wrong.
Start with the one thing you will not compromise on, then check the price of the plan that gives it to you.
- Printed QR cards in the mail, without designing anything, points to Guestlense at $99
- A password, slideshow and 12 months online for under $50 points to Guestlense
- A free test or a refund if nobody uploads points to Pix Wedding
- Uncompressed video, longer upload windows or 2 years online points to Pix Wedding
- An audio guestbook or a photographer upload link points to Pix Wedding Standard
Pix Wedding as a Guestlense alternative
Pix Wedding has a free plan with 20 guest uploads, a lower entry price ($44 against $49), a full refund when no guest uploads and video in original quality. Standard ($54) and Pro ($84) keep uploads open 6 or 12 months and the album online 1 or 2 years, with the audio guestbook, photographer link, missions and bingo on top.
Where Guestlense wins
Guestlense puts the slideshow, a password, unlimited albums, 500 MB files and 12 months of access into its $49 package, and it is the only one of the two that prints and ships QR cards and polaroid-style prints. If you want everything in the box from one order, that is a real advantage.
