The plan you need on Wedding Studio depends on uploads, not on your guest list. That can work in your favour.
Wedding Studio counts unique devices that upload at least one photo or video. Guests who only browse the album do not count.
A 120-guest wedding does not always need the 100+ plan, because not every guest uploads. Couples who share one phone count once.
Pick too small a plan and later uploaders hit the limit. We did not find on its pages what guests see at the cap, so ask before you buy.
Every paid Pix Wedding plan takes unlimited guests and unlimited photos and videos, so the guest count never changes the price.
Both hide photos until a reveal and both split one wedding into several albums. Where they part ways is finding a face: Wedding Studio sorts photos by moment, Pix Wedding Pro lets guests search with a selfie. These screens show the Pix Wedding side.
Wedding Studio keeps the album from purchase until 24 months after the wedding date. Pix Wedding counts its 6, 12 or 24 months from the date of purchase. So buying early costs Pix Wedding storage time, and buying close to the date does not.

Wedding Studio's clock is tied to the wedding date, so an early purchase loses nothing. With no date set, it uses a date two years after the album was created.
Set up and test on the free tier first, upgrade closer to the date, and download the ZIP before storage ends. $9 adds one more year to any paid plan.
