Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Pix Wedding ("we", "us", "our", the "Service") collects when you use pix.wedding, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by Arthur (the "operator"), who is responsible for the processing of personal information described in this policy and can be reached at [email protected]. By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Account Information
When you create a Pix Wedding account, we collect your name and email address, either directly (if you register with an email and password, in which case we store a securely hashed password) or through Google Sign-In (in which case Google shares your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier with us). We also store your subscription plan, billing status, and account preferences.
Event, Guest and Uploaded Content
When you create an event or photo album, we store the event details you provide, such as the event title and cover image. When you or your guests upload photos, videos, or voice messages through a QR code or upload link, we store those files together with any name, email, phone number, or message the uploader chooses to include, along with basic device information captured at the time of upload, such as browser and device type.
Marketing and Lead Information
If you use one of our free tools, such as our wedding checklist, budget calculator, or countdown timer, and choose to provide your email address to receive results, reminders, or related content, we store that email address and the information you submitted, and we may send you related emails. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the link included in them or by contacting us.
Payment Information
Purchases are processed by our payment processor, Polar. When you make a purchase, we receive your email address, name, the product purchased, the amount and currency, and related order details. We do not receive or store your full card number or other payment card details; those are handled directly by Polar.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit the Service, we and our analytics and advertising partners automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address (used to derive an approximate location such as country, region, or city), browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the actions you take on the site. We also record marketing attribution details, such as the campaign, ad, or search query that brought you to the Service, for example UTM parameters or ad click identifiers, where applicable.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: essential cookies that keep you signed in and let the Service function correctly; analytics cookies that help us understand how the Service is used; and advertising cookies that help us and our advertising partners measure and improve the performance of our ad campaigns. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Service.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to: provide and operate the Service, including generating and hosting your event albums and QR codes; process payments and manage subscriptions; send transactional emails such as password resets, purchase confirmations, and retention warnings before content is deleted; respond to support requests sent to [email protected]; understand how the Service is used and improve it; and measure and improve the performance of our marketing and advertising.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the third-party service providers who help us run the Service, each acting for the purpose described below:
Cloudflare, to store uploaded photos, videos, and voice messages.
MongoDB, hosted on MongoDB Atlas, as our database provider for account, event, and analytics data.
Google, for sign-in through Google Identity Services, site analytics, and Google Ads conversion tracking.
Meta (Facebook) and TikTok, for advertising and conversion tracking, including a hashed version of your email address and technical identifiers when you complete a purchase, used to measure ad performance.
Pinterest and WhatConverts, for advertising and lead attribution tracking.
Microsoft Clarity and SiteBehaviour, for on-site analytics such as session and heatmap analysis.
Fraud Blocker, to detect fraudulent clicks on our paid advertising.
DataFast, for site and revenue analytics.
Polar, to process payments and manage subscriptions, as described above.
Resend, and a backup email provider, to deliver transactional emails on our behalf.
Google Fonts, to serve web fonts used on the Service.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pix Wedding, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data Storage and Security
Your account and event data is stored in MongoDB Atlas, and your uploaded media is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
Data Retention
Uploaded event content, including photos, videos, and voice messages, is retained for a period tied to your plan, counted from the date the event was created: 6 months on the Starter plan, 12 months on the Standard plan, and 24 months on the Pro plan. We send a reminder email before this period ends. After the retention period, content is permanently deleted from our storage, and it is your responsibility to download anything you want to keep before then. Account information is retained for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your Rights and Choices
You can review and update your account information at any time by signing in. To request deletion of your account or the personal information we hold about you, contact us at [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to access, correct, or receive a copy of your information, or to object to certain processing; contact us and we will respond to verifiable requests. You can also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, and you can limit analytics and advertising cookies through your browser or device settings.
Children's Privacy
Pix Wedding is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] so we can remove it.
International Users and Data Transfers
Pix Wedding is operated from Azerbaijan, and the service providers listed above may process information in other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you live, which may have different data protection laws.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, the Service does not currently respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Azerbaijan.
