Pick Pixavo if photos stored on EU servers, a slideshow in the cheapest plan or three years online matter more than the price gap.

Pixavo's English sites list Basic $59, Premium $89 and Premium Plus $149 in the US, and £49, £79 and £139 in the UK, with unlimited guests on every plan. Pix Wedding is $49, $59 and $89, or £39, £47 and £70. Every plan on both is a single payment.
Pixavo says the price on its plan card is what you pay, including 21% btw. Pix Wedding lists one-time plan prices in euros for Dutch and Belgian visitors. If a few euros decide it, compare the final amount each checkout shows before you pay.
Plan names hide the real question: how much do you pay before the feature you want is switched on? Six of these go to Pix Wedding, two go to Pixavo.
Pixavo calls its guest numbers advice rather than a hard limit, and only guests who upload count. On its English sites every plan lists unlimited guests.

Photos are unlimited on both. The limits that differ are how much video fits in the album and, on the Dutch Pixavo site, how many guests the plan is sized for.
Pix limits each clip to 100 MB instead of the total. Free covers 20 uploads of any kind.
One dot is ten guests who upload. Pixavo does not charge for a few extra on the day and lets you upgrade for the difference.
Eight points each. If the right-hand list reads more like your wedding, book Pixavo; we would rather you pick the right tool than ours.
Guests never notice which company runs the album. They scan, pick photos and see them land. This is the Pix Wedding version of that flow.
Both delete the album when its period ends, so the download is what you keep forever. Pix also has an upload window, shown as the darker part of each rose bar, after which guests can no longer add files.
Pix counts storage from the day the event is created and emails a reminder before deletion. Pixavo deletes the album within 90 days after its period and sends a reminder about a month before the end.
This is the section where Pixavo has the stronger story for Dutch couples, so read it before you decide. Pixavo states EU storage under the AVG; Pix Wedding does not promise EU-only storage.

Whichever service you pick, the QR code on the table is the whole guest experience. This walkthrough covers the setup choices that decide whether it works on the night and long after.
Watch for two things that matter more than the brand: a code that opens straight into the upload page, and an album that is still reachable after the party. Both Pixavo and Pix Wedding do the first. For the second, match the plan's online period to how long your guests will keep sending photos.

Both services delete the album after its online period. Take the full download well before then and keep a second copy somewhere you trust.
