What 280+ couples woke up to

We told people scan the card on your table. 71 guests uploaded 487 photos by the end of the night. I found a picture of my grandmother laughing that I will frame forever. Setup took maybe ten minutes. Nothing else this year felt this worth the money.

We ended up with 1,840 photos from our 132 guests. Our photographer caught the posed shots but Pix caught everything else, my dad crying during the toast, my niece sneaking cake, the dance floor at 1am. The QR cards on every table got scanned within five minutes of guests sitting down.

We had a wedding hashtag and asked people to post on Instagram. Maybe 30 people did. Then we added Pix QR codes to the tables a week before. Day of we got over 1,800 uploads. The hashtag is dead, Pix is the future.

My wife was skeptical because we had a really expensive photographer. Now she says Pix is her favorite part of the whole day. We got candids no photographer could ever catch, her aunts taking selfies in the bathroom, the kids under the table.
